Since you asked so politely, I have seen him play out on the left for us but don't recall him playing on the right wing.

Fair enough. Just repeating what Mark Wilson said on the radio.

Are you suggesting that Mark Wilson might lie? :74::fear:

Guy's 22, has been here a year. Played well the first half but has tailed off toward the end. This sounds normal when you sign young players.

He's 24 in March. There will come a point where the 'he's young' excuse won't be valid.

It's hard to explain but when I watch Armstrong it's like I'm watching someone who goes through the motions of being a footballer but doesn't have the heart to go all out and be a great footballer. It like it's just a job, a means to an end without passion or risk. I don't think it's a conscious thing but rather that's just how he is. I suppose he's at best described as a decent squad player who's rarely going to offer something special other than the odd good cross. In saying all that I think that he's a nice enough young man but his future is probably going to be better served outside of football. I hope that I'm proved wrong but it's just my feeling that he's the wrong fit.

Doesn't look good enough to play for a poor Celtic side says it all about him I think. It's unfortunate because I hoped all the hype was true but barring a couple of decent games he has been another waste of money, I can't believe how poor his touch is, well I suppose it goes hand in hand with his passing at times.

Thought he was going to turn out a good addition to the squad after his performance at Home against Inter. Shame hes far off it. I do believe however that pushing him wide we won't see the best from him hes a number 10.

Some of the footage of him playing for Dundee United baffles me . Looks a different player .

This from the Celtic view might explain him and GMS's poor form...

"Since I joined Celtic, Gaz and I have been living together in a flat in Glasgow but much like Gary's hair the cracks begin to show and it's time you realise you've got to move on. It's a bit of a raw subject for him but he's realising it's quite real now. I got the keys for my new place when I came back from Turkey and I think he has one or two months left but I will be moving out before Christmas. I think he'll let the time run out and then he'll say 'I've nowhere else to go' and ask to move back in with me but im quite enjoying the prospect of not having to hear him play guitar to Justin Bieber all day".

Rather than them both come out the closet they are going there seperate ways :nonono:

    What's happened to him?
Looks a shadow of the player he was, and the last couple of times I've seen him play he looks like his hearts not in it :39::39:

Another player that appears to be decent for a very average SPFL team and can't handle it at Celtic. One good game and everyone wants to give him time, well if he was a foreigner he would get digs abuse on here and rightly so has has been utter garbage except the odd decent performance. Whether he is out of position or not his touch and ability to play a pass is non existent.

Recurrence of this back injury perhaps to blame for his poor form?

He's struggling for confidence at the moment . Doesn't help when your constantly being played out of position .theres one thing for sure he loves being at Celtic and desperately wants to do well for the club

Would rather see him at the centre and his pal Gary in his position on the left as he is a natural winger. Not to mention they are joined at the hip off the park and I assume would likely have good chemistry together. Get Armstrong in his proper position and give GMS some game time. Why the * not?! If it doesnt work you still have Mcgregor, Rogic and Allan, (Commons of course when healthy) to slot in.

Hasn't been fit all season. Something has to be up behind the scenes as the amount of daft but lengthy injuries we pick up is simply ridiculous.
