Haven't commented on his new deal yet but I have to say, a bit salty at the way it's been conducted on his behalf.

We all thought he may well be off this time last season, and to his credit he turned it around. He started playing like the player we wanted from the start.

Has one good season at a top club and see's dollar signs, and only signs a new deal once UCL football is all but confirmed and he is in his poorest run of form in a year.

Not only that, but the length of the deal looks to be signalling to an early exit. If he's already got an eye for England, I don't see why we'd hang on to him past this season. Ntcham and McGregor have been miles ahead of him anyways, so he needs to do alot to win back his place, and our and Brendans faith to get back into the team.

Armstrong and his chum off to the polling booth in June...

"I say Montgomery, I was perusing the Financial Times today and it seems that with sufficient financial prudence - which of course, can only be provided by a strong and stable Conservative government - the United Kingdom as a sold unit of four happy nations, has a jolly good chance of weathering this Brexit storm and making Britannia great again. Thank goodness we rejected that riff-raff dream of independence in 2014".

I think we should try to sell him this window. We have a midfield full of quality and it doesn't feel like Stu is committed.
