Your dropping brown, in the champions league. The one plsyer who last year, nhad the most interceptions out of the entire tournament, even those in the final. Your at it. Clear brown hate showing.

Dissapointed that it´s only one year more, should have been until 2020 atleast imo.

His pass accuracy was phenomenal as well from what I recall. Which is strange as people used to say (and to an extent still do) that his passing ability is one of his worst traits.

I was expecting a 2020 or to 2021 contract myself even if it had a release clause say next summer for a set amount etc

Who's really the fool? The fool? Or the fool who's wasting his time arguing with the fool on a Celtic forum :43:?

You know what, I've changed my mind, I'm the * and you're the fool :50:

All in good fun Packybhoy, I actually think you're alright mate.

Ideally, Armstrong will get his head down and try and get his form back while he's here.

Good that he is staying as he is one of our most important players but strange that its only a 2 year deal

Aye, but Peter Lawwell probably just tippexed the 2018 into a 2019 and used the same contract again.

    Tight *.

  9. I reckon there's a gentlemans agreement that if we get a bid in next Summer from an English club we'll sell him, could be wrong, I'm just speculating

If I truly hated Brown which is a preposterous accusation as I would never hate on a Celtic player let alone a Celtic captain. I would never hive him any credit whatsoever if I disliked him so much when I have done as he deserved all the praise he got last season. So let's drop the hate accusations as it's absurd and offends me. I just feel we have better MFs when in top form who will bring us more to the table in the CL if they start for us, is that such a crime to hold that belief?

Anyway, the key words you used there were last year, we are now in a different season and players need to prove themselves all over again, Brown included. As I said before I will be astounded if Brown plays as he did once again like he did last year, but would of course welcome it. I feel though his performances have definitely dropped a few notches so far this season from last.

Anyway, like I said, time will tell.

For someone that doesn't hate Brown, you're talking an awful lot like you hate Brown.

Anyone been watching BT Sports by the way? Chris Sutton is outside CP saying he's heard it on good authority that Wanyama hates Brown.

Sounds like his adviser has played it smart here tbh, higher wages from now, probably a signing on fee and they have the knowledge that the club wont be hard to deal with should a decent offer come in. Aye the adviser is a fool.

BR on #StuSigns: "I'm absolutely delighted, for Stu and the other players. He made great strides last season and enjoy working with him."

BR: "To have him here for two years is great for us and gives him peace of mind. The majority of players work better with stability."

BR: "I always felt he wanted to sign. Well done to him, his agents and the Club."

BR on contract length: "It is what it is is, we've found an agreement. I just want the player to be happy. If he's happy, I am."

BR: "I'm sure there are more Scottish players that can do what he has; grow into a top performer and break into the national team."

BR: "He is very professional, hungry to learn and improve. He's got good power and speed and a wonderful instinct to score goals."
