There is no point of holding a grudge, his agent was obviously telling him what to do to get the best deal possible. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but when he starts banging the goals in, this will be forgotten about IMO.

True but thankfully we've managed to keep a good bunch of guys together.

Good to see Armstrong is going to stay.
Regardless of money spent, I believe we have one of the top midfields in Britain.
Now add wee Paddy Roberts into the mix.

I'll be delighted when he signs but you've got to wonder what the hold up was? He's missed out on 6months worth of cash if he had signed back then..

Maybe we've offered more cash or backdowned over a sell on %..

Soon as he bangs in a goal against sevco and blows you that special kiss you'll take to him again like a duck to water

I'm not saying I hate him or anything and I hope he gets back to his best. But he'll never be a favourite of mine.

I thought that as well, guy beside me hates wee Forrest, it's almost as If he wants him to to make a mistake so he can give him abuse , he's not everyone s favourite but you get behind the 11 bhoy s oot on the park, give him his due though when wee Forrest scored the 4th, he was jumping about like a loony

In all honesty I feel we are well covered in midfield with rogic, Ollie and mcgregor all able to play the holding and number 10 role, the number 10 role gives Armstrong the freedom to use his pace and fitness but I wouldn't start him before rogic and or mcgregor, so any transfer money could have been used to bring in quality additions at r/w and or striker and left back/centre half

Hate that, especially on one of our own.

I used to sit a few seats away from a guy who was like that with the whole team. Never even celebrated Joe Ledley's 1-0 goal against Oldco, slated everycunt, was waiting for mistakes so he could moan.

By the end of the season I wanted to murder him man

It will be great to have him signed up, we have superb options in midfield now. A centre-half and Paddy would make this squad unbelievably strong. I think with those 2 additions, we would be seriously competitive with any team in Europe.

KT's a rarity, shouldn't be the benchmark IMO

I'd like to see how a midfield of Broony, Ntcham and Armstrong would perform.

I think that'll be what we go with in our European away games.

I would start with Rogic then bring Armstrong on after 60 mins for Rogic to run at *
