What's with the hostility on here against Stu not signing a new contract? Everyone knows this is part of the game. People come, people go. If he wants to move on, then let him do it. He's done a decent job for us and he deserve our respect for that. Also we have plenty of players in centre midfield and attacking midfield. If we can get 6 million we could invest it in other positions that we're lacking atm.

 

If he goes to the EPL then good luck to him. Loads of young footballers grow up to be a star in the prem and if you get the chance go for it Stu!

He's owes us nothing at the end of the day.

 

I know some people love seeing former players doing well but if he goes I hope he's a failure.


I'd take the £6m. But if he stays and tries to run his contract down I hope we punt him in the development squad.

 

He's quality. Swansea has been close to a one man army for a good few years with him in the team

If they up their offer to bewteen £8-10M I'd sell personally. I have my doubts about Armstrong recapturing last seasons form so better to cash in now whilst the iron is hotish.

 

Only one good season while others beeing better than him in that one season, if he wants to go get him to *. If he wants to run his contract down than get him to * to the bench of the developement squad.

 

He's a good player but he is worth nowhere near £45m. If you got him for half of that then you would have a good deal on your hands. At that price it's * insane.

Aye fair play. I like him but just not for that price. Everton are looking to become a top 6 club and he done * all at spurs so I don't think he will shine this season anyways. Good player for clubs like Swansea though.
