Starting to annoy me, 6 months of good form last season does not make him a superstar. He was poor last night, sign the contract and be grateful or * off into the obscurity of English football.

 

Punt.

 

I think a good long sit on the bench is required.

 

Who's bench though ?

 

Well that depends..if he keeps playing like that hopefully not ours.

 

Nothing convinces a talented, 17-goal season midfielder to sign a new contract like a good, long sit on the bench.

 

Genuine contender for POTY a few months ago, now he's not even good enough for our bench, some people.

 

If he doesn't want to sign a contract. He can * off , honestly..

 

If he refuses to sign a contract and puts in * bag performances like that he can get his * on the bench. Don't care how many goals he scored last season.

 

Aye, baffling approach some folk have.

 

He's no scored a dead ball chip so he can be punted.

 

Football is a fickle fickle game. But in honesty now thats the 1st four qualifiers were not only has he been really poor he has looked off the pace to. Obviously the contract situation is affecting him- Ntcham cost 4.5 million I think he should start on Saturday. Lets see what hes got.

 

People on here have a different opinion about a player after each game.... I like most of you but you really are mad. He had a bad game, he's still a great player... I'm happy we have such dept in cm as if form drops we can put someone else in.

 

It's not just one bad game, he's had loads. he's proven himself a good player over last 6 months of last season. That's it as far as im concerned. He's been here how long now, 18months at least? People are over estimating him. Powder puff and obviously had his head turned by other offers recently. If we can punt for anything over 6 mill I'd take it cos he aint that good. Nothing that isn't replaceable anyway

 

He's had loads of great games and came off the bench and changed games too. I just think people jump the gun to criticise. Last week he was a must starter now it's different. That being said if he's being a * about the contract then I'll say * him we have ntcham, kouassi and McGregor for his role.

 

Think it's like he is rejecting family for some ,and we want players to be supporters to ,its a bit of a turn off to see a stalemate with a player when we would all play for nothing.

 

He didn't play particularly well the other night but I think people are exaggerating about how bad he was. I wonder why.

 

Getting through will be massive for us for a load of reason's but one of the biggest is probably coaxing him to sign that extension..

 

he's quite an educated boy it seems , so he's just having a look at his options before he signs back on .
