Tonight he was back to how he was playing 2 year ago. If I was him I'd be straight on the phone to my agent to see if the contract offer from us is still available before they reduce the terms.

 

If he isn't going to sign the contract (Which looks unlikely) then he's got to go, it's as simple as that.

Can't have a player getting game time over others when he won't even commit to us when there are others champing at the bit fully committed to the cause, sends out the wrong message. Guys like Benyu and Kouassi bursting to get in there. Armstrong was great against Sunderland as well just there albeit it was a friendly.

Get what we can for him imo, then put it towards a deal to bring Paddy home.

I know his brother sometimes goes on one of the supporters buses. Maybe some of the bhoys will manage to squeeze some info out of him after a few.

Especially when Mitchan/Eboue represent a considerable outlay + they are still young and hungry and need games for progression.

Didn't look as sharp as we're used to, but that was true of a lot of players in both legs, really is * we have to play our most important, season defining games basically pre-season.

Hopefully it is just lack of fitness and not his head away, really hope he signs a new deal.

Rodgers must think he's going to sign a contract otherwise he wouldn't be playing him in my opinion.
Want to see him stay, lack of fitness and match sharpness means a lot of the team always struggle in the qualifiers especially against a team half way through their season.

 

Anyone who thinks we'll be better off without him, needs help..
