    I really want to know what's the deal here.

    If our board is being penny-pinching, then fans should make organized pressure on them, with banners and chants. I read that someone on here wrote how apparently board offered him only 15k wage, which is ridiculous for a player of his quality. I don't want another Ledley scenario, that was one sore to take, this one would be even worse.

    If Stuart is desperate to leave, then tell him straight that he won't feature for us anymore until other clubs offer us money for him, and until he's ultimately sold.

    I doubt that Stuart is desperate to leave, since he has it all here, and he said it himself many times. Just please, solve this situation already.

    Armstrong is a terrific player, as good a box to box player with a goal threat as we have had in some time. I think his situation will be sorted one way or another in a couple of weeks. It might depend on CL as to whether the club want to keep him. Think he needs to start tomorrow.

    He was terrific when he came on against Sunderland, great goal with his weak foot plus his passing was sublime at times with deft little touches and flicks.

    I get the sentiment of dropping him if he's not going to renew but surely we have to set aside any gripes and put out the best available side to ensure qualification. Would be different if we were 3/4 - 0 up but we can't afford any gambles due to a grudge.

    It's undoubtedly a dilemma but he's always given the impression of being quite professional. Did he not play for Utd whilst we were in talks? Anyway I trust Brendan's judgement as to whether or not he's in the right frame of mind.
