I don't rule that out either.

Lawwell thinks he's some sort of negotiating genius, acts the hard man when it comes to players' contracts and forcing out our fans but * himself when confronted with decades of Hun cheating.

Tomorrow is the 2-month anniversary of the treble clinching win in the Scottish Cup final. Since that time Celtic have been hauled up twice by UEFA after being goaded by the fans and players of a no-mark * team; the GB have been suspended home and away, seemingly leading to a split in the fan base; we have no recognized strikers and 1 center back for a CL qualifier, the same situation as a year ago and one that should have been fixed; one of our best players from said treble-winning side is a contract rebel; Scottish football refuses to punish a club and company that were found by the highest court in the land to have repeatedly cheated over a 10+ year span; and Brendan may get one more quality signing in before the window closes. All this, and the SPFL hasn't started yet.

Celtic may have won almost everything last year, but they certainly aren't winning the close season! I'll be happy when we can focus on football again, as these past two months have been a complete letdown after the elation of May 27th.

Aye I try not to be to negative but I must say that is a fairly depressing summary. However we have made the biggest cash signing in 15 years and to be fair once the football starts again tonight the fans will be united. We may argue on forums but we will never ever do it in public. And who knows who the one more quality signing is- could be Neymar :fear:

This past week has just been so frustrating. Never would have imagined the mini-Huns from Linfield would have gotten under everyone's skin so much. Everything has just snowballed from there.

Hopefully a good humping of Rosenborg tonight will help me get over this. :60:

If the board offered that pittance of wage for a guy who is one of the most decisive members of the squad then i take back my comments calling him a *.

As some guy said, we have a board that * on our supporters, players but suck up to huns

If we are offering him anything below 20k then I'm not surprised in the hold up.

Would happily see us give him 25k a week. Think of the wages we have shifted already this summer ffs.

Armstrong worth £25000 a week easy I think he could easily be our next captain.
Our board always do this to Scottish based players, I'm sure they treated Maloney like this when he got Poty.

Really disappointing that it has come to this. Sort of player we should be investing a few quid in.

    c'mon bhoys

    he's goin nowhere.

he's had ONE good season here.

ONE. and one swallow doesnt make a summer.

His agent is acting the monkey. If he or his agent have any sense theyve taken a look at Gary Hooper and are merely lookin for a better deal.

    It'll be sorted

If he doesnt sign for Celtic you wonder what level he expects to be playing at. Hes still got a lot of improving to do, Ive seen much better midfielders playing for Celtic over the years.

Just don't quite understand how players as good as him can hit it that bad at that moment in time. Keep it down ffs.

Pretty much every player from midfield up was *. At least Armstrong tried to create as did Rogic. Sinclair, Brown, Ntcham and Forrest were worse

Agree, I thought Armstrong was the best attacking player tbh, only one who was constantly on the move trying to break through them. Sinclair especially was very subdued, Forrest tried to make a few runs but they amounted to nothing, Rogic tried but he was too far from goal with nobody to turn and link with he was very ineffective and Brown and Ntcham just passed it sideways most of the game although Ntcham did play a beauty over the top to Armstrong quite early in the game.
