    Maybe with GMS leaving and Sviatchenko questioning his future, he doesn't think he could live without his two best pals and wants to move on because the memories would hurt too much?

    To be fair to Brendan, nobody could turn Armstrong into a great player, except maybe Merlin or Gandalf.

    If he's doesn't want to sign sell him in this window and be done with it he is a good player with one good season for us, we have lost and replaced better and will continue to do so

    Can you provide evidence to support your claim that Sviatchenko is 'questioning his future'? And also Stuart Armstrong is a professional footballer.. I don't think he'd let something like sentiment stand in the way of making the correct decision on his career- particularly when he is in the prime of it.

    If he's being left out the team and isn't injured then his attitude must be wrong. Sounds like he wants away.

    He's a good player but not irreplaceable. If we can get north of £5m for him I'd be delighted.

    If the rumours are true he's about to triple his wage and some.

    Loyalty is a two way thing I suppose, fans only ever want a loyal player when he's playing well. Don't get me wrong if he goes it will be hugely disappointing, but it seems that way.

    He won't earn that much more at a side like WBA or Bournemouth.

    We are probably offering just shy of 25k I imagine. They won't be tripling that.

    Wages down south are big but they often get exaggerated. Certainly for players at his level.

    I agree though it will definitely be a money motivated move. Nobody can convince me he is going for footballing reasons. Better league of course but the thought of a side like that is depressing. Bournemouth not so much as they play decent fitba and have a good young gaffer.
