Its not who you support it's more the fact you want to punt after he was outstanding for us majority of the season scoring some huge goals.

Punt after an awful pass against England? Aff yer nut mate.

Aw kidding aside, if he was punted to someone like Aberdeen at the start of last season no one would've batted an eyelid, Brendan shows a bit of faith in him after he came on against sevco and scored in 5-1 game, plays him in his preferred position, gets the best out of him, rants and raves about him, thanks to Brendan he gets international recognition, show a bit of loyalty and gratitude than 8 good months, thanks I'm offski for big bucks, * yous.At the end of the day Brendan, If that's the type of guy he is your better off without him, you'll meet someone else :58:

Is what sparked all the activity and rumour in this thread a rumour from twitter? I don't think anyone other than Stuart Armstrong knows where he will be next season. Personally I think he'll sign a 3 year deal, providing we qualify for Europe and have a decent run he'll be sold for big bucks next summer.

Social media is a strange animal. Seems like everyone can have an opinion and enough people will believe it and spread it until it's almost gospel because so many are talking about it.

I keep seeing some guy called ITK being quoted on here, he is always wrong. He has been quoted on here for years though. :giggle1:

It's not even believing the rumours that are bad. It's when * start saying * like it's the clubs fault and that we won't be able to replace him

Brendan has basically told Armstrong's agent to get real, through the press. Rodgers runs Celtic these days. If he thought Armstrong was worth what him and his agent were wanting they'd get it.
Rodgers just gave us one of the most historic domestic seasons in European football history. He knows how much his players are worth to him.

People shouldn't panic about losing Stuart Armstrong fucksake :giggle1:

Hope your right bud and even then not every football player is totally money oriented, Gordon could've more than trebled his wages last season, Sinclair could've stayed down south on more than double what he is on but some players would rather enjoy their football than sit on a bench and lets face it they still get paid handsomely at Celtic
Brendan could easily have got a job in the Premiership, tripled his wages with a palace or stoke and the Huns will say " he's not ambitious If he'd rather be in spl than EPL but a lot to be said for a guy loving his life n football with the team he supports, breaking records playing in champions league, the guy s not greedy and again he won't go short

Apparently Armstrong was going to sign a 3 year deal no problem then he started reading this thread and said " ya shower of *, a thought you aw loved me, that's it I'm offski "and left paradise in tears

    £10M :56:

If we get £10M for him with a year left on his contract we should spend £2M on a replacement and give £8M of it to Lawwell as an upfront fee to be our CEO forever.

Armstrong has behaved impeccably so far. I've no issue at all with players seeing out their contracts. He signed a contract until 2018 and as far as I'm concerned he's happy to fulfil that. It's the ones who batter down the manager's door looking for a move mid contract that annoy me.

If he goes this summer I'm sure it won't be because he's taking the huff.
