Aye true his first 3 weeks at the club mirrored his 8 months from last season!

    Not bitter in any way

West Brom/Southampton/Burnley/Bournemouth all willing to pay Stuart Armstrong in excess of £45k p/w... currently on £10k p/w - head's turned

Southampton playing around the £8m mark, Celtic will likely hold out for £10m - the hope is these clubs create a bidding war, unlikely atm.

According to Agent Scotland on twitter Celtic have offered just a little more than half them EPL teams supposed offers.

Not buying the 'we have replacements ready' line because we don't have a 17 goal season centre mid that contributes all over park like he does waiting anywhere

in my opinion in the league december onwards he was our most consistent performer, without him in the team we wouldn't have gone unbeaten and may have not done the treble he is that important.
17 goals and an absolute physical machine

If there are clubs apparently willing to spend £10m on him its a easy decision to make

No doubt I just feel if he is trying to engineer a move it's disrespectful to Brendan and his staff who have put so much faith in the guy!

Thought today when I seen pic of him, gms and Erik I don't think any 3 of them (gms obviously) will be here come 1st September

Would be amazed if we got £10m with a year left but perhaps a sign of the times down South.

Few years ago that would have been unthinkable for a player up here. Especially a Scottish one.

Ntcham isn't a replacement, we already needed a CM. If Armstrong goes we are back to square one. I could handle Armstrong leaving if we went for Ledley or someone similar

Rogic was also on fire at that time at got injured or he would probably have hit over 20, know he s a different player but when someone got injured the player coming in always stepped up to the mark
Dembele got injured Griffiths came in pumped the Huns 1-5 at Poundland
Even when broony got suspended we pumped Partick thistle 0-5 , personally a do still think we'd have went unbeaten without him
That said he was excellent last season and 17 goals is massive as well as his tracking back
So will be disappointed if he leaves
    Snooty wee chucter *

Brendan calls Ntcham a natural number 8 so he is actually a replacement/competitor for Armstrongs position.

Edit. Just realised what you meant... carry on.

We didn't have one this time last year either when many of this forum wanted him sold.

Fact is we have 1 or 2 CM's that could come in and perhaps replace him and make a similar impact. If not take some of that £8-10m we would supposedly get and sign another.

    Would take £10m for him.

£5m if they take Bitton and Erik with him.

Your right mate, with kouassi n Ntcham who knows if they are a box to box 17 goals a season player, people might say they are not that type of player but neither was Armstrong till last season and Sinclair was never renowned for his goal scoring until Brendan got the best out him
