The thing is, once the transfer window closes his value will plummet if he's not signed a new contract. A decision needs to be made before then. Either he signs a new deal or we try and get a fee for him.

We're supposedly trying to run a lean but expensive squad. We can't really be letting players run their contracts down in that case.

Obviously he can refuse to move and let his contract run down but he risks getting very little game time is he tries to do that.

Hopefully he signs soon but there's no way I would let this go past August.

Was hoping he would be announced today along with the new signing. BR should give him an ultimatum, either sign or bolt.

I'm sure he would if he wasn't confident in him signing. Have faith.

I trust Brendan 100% but I have a feeling Armstrong wants to go to the EPL. Would hate to lose a player of his quality for nothing at the end of the season or peanuts in January.

Depends, I'd rather he stay if he could be a major part of us getting through the qualifiers. Even if that means losing him for * all, getting there is more important and we can afford that gamble.

We should have enough quality to get through the qualifiers without him. Cant see Peter Lawell letting him run his contract down tbf. We would be stronger with him in the team for the qualifiers without a doubt but I hate having players who dont want to be here.

Think we should give ourselves the strongest possible chance, if we're stronger with him he should be there for them regardless.

Could have been sitting on a fair bit of cash if he'd signed a new deal already.. either he wants to move or isn't happy with some aspect of the contract. Maybe we're trying to insert a minimum buy out fee!

Think Ntcham signing spells the end for Stuart.

What? It's clear Ntcham's been brought in to start, who drops out of the team. Certainly won't be Brown..

Ntcham's clearly been brought in to start, significant fee. Who drops out of the first 11, mate?

Armstrong in RM.? Think we've all seen what he plays like out of position, under Deila.

He never got a game on the right though. Only time hes played on the right for us is when he played right-back last season and was MOTM, had a great game nearly scored a few goals and I think set up 1 or 2.
