    I agree that they are different players but I've got a feeling we will live to regret signing him up. McCarthy comes to mind. I would obviously love it if Armstrong stayed with us but if he wants to leave I'd punt him the now. There is plenty other players who would love to be in his position.

    Would be extremely disappointed in Armstrong if he basically patched us now after Rodgers standing by him when he was pish.

    He will never play for a better club, playing for Celtic is a chance you get one shot at it please Stuart don't throw it away for a career in Mid-table in England, I agree with those who say he owes Brendan a lot, rewind the clock to 12 months ago and he was a fringe player probably close to the exit

    Probably being harsh on him considering he did pay Rodgers back by being an integral part of the treble-winning side :56:.

    I really disagree with some on here that think he can easily be replaced though, and he certainly can't be replaced by anyone in this country I don't think.

    Personally think he will extend his contract. Another good season under his belt and he could get a higher calibre of club knocking the door. He's not daft, he's had a great season, and likely to be a first pick, as he's versatile. He need's to be playing to keep his development up. And as stated, probably trying to up his terms, and who can blame him?

    Rodgers brings some real pedigree to this club, honestly can't see many deciding to jump ship so soon.

    Hopefully he's been studying Scots Law in his spare time which would render a move to England at this moment inopportune, as he would have to do a conversion into English Common Law.

    I sincerely hope that Callum McGregor has consolidated this point to him.
