What a player. MOTM yesterday and took the game by the scruff of the neck when we looked to be struggling.

Said it before but, my POTY. Without doubt.

    Any update on his contract?

  7. Big players change big games. He's ran the show in every big game this year- including BMG away. Outstanding talent

17 * goals. When was the last time that was done from mainly central midfield?

I was shocked when I heard that.

    17!?

    Incredible for a central midfielder.

Especially because he was in and out of the team at the start of the season, didn't really cement his place until December.

  11. He could have easily hit 25 or more if he had been starting from July when season kicked off

Think it might be, I'm sure he got 19 one season when he was on penalty duty?

That's actually a good point. 17 goals from Armstrong and I don't think any of them have been penalties.

    Incredible.

Yep , added aggression to his game along with more confidence and a manager who knows his preferred position is best suited to him .
Have to say he has earned any big contract and wage hike ,a player like him down in EPL would be easily 30 mill ,so important we give him wot he is worth as he is a model pro and so important to us , really can't wait till he is signed and sealed , would be like another trophy to us all .

He's the (almost) complete modern day midfielder in the sense he's pretty good at everything and obviously is still improving at a rapid rate..

I genuinely can't believe the turnaround in him this year and his high level of consistency. The biggest compliment I can probably pay him is that i believe other's side's fear him and his name on the team sheet..

Remember the day's we all used to rage about how he always took corners because they were awful? Not now. The way he strikes the ball, with both feet, is controlled and classy. The dig which you've mentioned is another that he's really taken on to another level and his passing is crisp. The energy he has is something else..

Really blossomed in to a top player..

On the corner thing I can remember * on here moaning at me saying I can't blame Ronny for everything - cause I * blamed him for that, he had two types of corners no matter who was taking them - floaty to back post, low to front post.

    Done my * in :56:
