Not mine, it's my pals who works for Celtic. Take a dig all you want but the info about Johnston's new deal and him playing as soon as the Huns games were 100%.

No reason for him to lie.

Signed up for his prime years. Imagine an experienced 28 yr old Armstrong captaining Celtic to 10 in a row

No matter what happens there is absolutely no way Brown isn't lifting the 10.

He could be crippled and he'll still be signed as a player and be club captain so he can lift the 10. And rightly so.

    A legend.

Mental to think Tierney would only be 23 if we do 10 in a row, he could win Young Player of the Year that season, Maloney both won it when he was 23 :56:

4 years would be cracking. Near enough confirm him staying here into his prime.

Brown should still be fine really, he'll be 35 but players do seem to be playing longer now than they did before and Brown was always a naturally fit and quick midfielder. Lambert was still good for us until he was 33/34 and Lennon until he was 34/35 and Brown probably had more pace and stamina now than they did during their careers. Although they were tactically better but Brown has improved a lot at that over the last 5 or so years.

Probably have someone easing him out by then but I agree about how he's developed late on tactically and is/was without doubt faster than Lenny and Lambo as well. Like he said though, now that he has other's doing more of the running (Armstrong ...and now McGregor, plus the pace we have on the wings), he can literally put the brakes on and just sit and play simple passes which he's very comfortable doing these day's..

He'll be a great guy to have around the dressing room late in to his 30's and with how he coaches with the youngster's, hopefully he'll take up some sorta capacity with us when he retires..

Thought he showed a bit of an aggressive streak tonight that I've not seen before.

Constantly going on at the ref and the Sheep players. Brendan moulding him into the next captain...

So so happy he's signed a new deal.

He has so much energy it's incredible, just needs to work on his positioning defensively and keeping possession from the back like Broony does for the games he's not playing.

It's amazing that we now just know going into a game he's going to perform, night and day from last season.

    Oh Brendan said,
we're gonny play him in centre-mid,
    Oh words can't describe,
When we see him in the green and white,
    His hair is fine,
He scores belters all the time,
That's why we sing this song,
    For Stuart Armstrong!
