Won the ball on numerous occasions then played a slack pass, but still was all over the park and never shirked a tackle, what a turnaround in not just him but the whole club.

Always looks like scoring. His shots from around the edge of the box have been magnificent this season.

Folk may dismiss this comment but he is definitely getting there.

His goal today screamed Stan Petrov.

A huge improvement to his game.

He used to have really tame shots, now they're firm whether he puts his laces through them or side foot.

His aggression is incredible, showing passion and commitment that none of us thought he had in him. A real leader too, and clearly popular in changing room. Hope we don't do another Ledley and tie him down for the future pronto.

Aye but he'd need to keep this up for a good 5/6 years for it to be a question that it's not automatically Stan but he's putting in Stan like performances.

Brendan has improved so many of our players but the turnaround in Armstrong is the biggest change I think.

Stan was captain of Bulgaria from a very young age as well, Armstrong has just been capped for Scotland.

He's not at his level yet but it's definitely not out with the realms of possibility that he'll get there!

I am more afraid of losing this guy to a 30 million pound offer from the EPL than Dembele

If it's possible for one man to encapsulate the difference between having a poor manager(Ronny Deila) and a quality manager(Brendan Rodgers) then it's Stuart Armstrong. Deila almost destroyed Armstrong's Celtic career by continually asking him to play out of position and do things his game is not suited to. Brendan has come in and played the boy in his natural position, freeing him up to do the things he does best.

I always felt Armstrong had what it takes to be a Celtic player but even my confidence in him making it began to waver around the end of Deila's time here. Brendan's done a great reclamation job with him.

Exactly the same with me. I thought he was great signing at the time but at the end of last season I was resigned to the fact he wouldn't make it at Celtic and I was wrong about him. Great to see he's showing his class now.

Give him a 5 year deal and make him vice captain.

    Some Barnet.

    Rogic.

Pretty clear Broony and Armstrong are absolutely essential for us.

No brainer, Armstrong and Brown are fundamentally important to us, both have shown when out the team how crucial they are.
