Gerrard-esque. He was * everywhere , scores , hits the post, winning every 50 50 , crucial interceptions. Love him.

 

Best player on the park along with Brown. Boy does everything, if I was one of those EPL scouts, I would be really impressed.

I'm really glad he made it here, when we were about to sign him I really felt like he could be a quality player for us, he had everything and could only improve, Deila almost ruined his career here.

 

He was immense the day, shame the rest of the team didn't pick themselves up to his level.

 

Him being subbed changed the game.

 

As said, when he went off, our discipline, tenacity and aggression all left with him. He was our biggest goal threat today- put others to shame

 

His turnaround has been incredible. Last season he would have hid in the game but today he really stood up unlike the majority.
His shooting has improved so much this season. Remember last season he would take a shot with his strong foot and it would almost be like a back pass to the opposition keeper every time. Now he is producing real power in his shots, especially with his left foot. Keep up the good work Stu!

In September most of us were thinking "what the *" when he was brought on against the huns. Today him going off cost us the 3 points.

Incredible turnaround.

 

I'd imagine if this was the Semi-final he would have stayed on.

His energy and attitude has really characterised our performances throughout the season, he really sets the tone for us.

 

He's turning into a Rolls Royce of a midfielder

 

Only has one more year on his deal so we have to try and get him tied down on a long term contract
