    He's only 13 goals off 50 for his career thus far.

    That isn't bad going for a guy who will only just be turning 25 end of this month. Probably has another 5 or 6 in him this season alone.

    I think Dembele is a cert for POTY but Armstrong honestly deserves a very creditable shout. I had him written off around October, in fact in the summer I wouldn't have even batted an eyelid had he walked out the door.

    Now, however, he looks the complete midfielder. Pace, drive, technique, tenacity and finishing ability whenever he gets into the box. Looks like Deila was right with the Muller comparison...:fear:

    That free kick last night was a peach, love how Brendan got word from Davies then gave Stuart the nod. Least that's what it looked like. Nice piece of team work. Think that's why Brendan loves him so much, they have a great understanding, he does what he asks him and he can do it well.

    One of Ronny's mysteries, how can someone be so right and so wrong at the same time with a player?

    Is it next year his contract runs out?

    I hope we try and get him tied up on a long term deal. He's a quality player and arguably Brown's long term replacement.

    I'm chuffed with the whole Brendan/Chris thing for the free kick too, but to be fair, even my manager at the weekend sometimes says "have a pop" and I'd hate him to think he was some sort of managerial genius :56:

    I like how Armstrong still looks for guidance and is still developing. A willingness to learn, coupled with his intelligence already, means he'll go far..

    The sidelines definitely deserve credit, but to then have a crack and put it in the top corner, was just ultimate class..

    Yeah, 2018 his deal runs out. I'm sure there will be talks happening soon.

    Interestingly, Mackay-Steven is contracted until 2019. Work that one out.
