Just watched highlights after being at Ibrox and out last night. Armstrong's block from Holt or McKay in the opening few minutes was a goal saving one. Tremendous. The greatest link between midfield and attack without Tam but also so brave and composed. Also, passion he showed yesterday and this season was not present last year. Comes with confidence I guess?

It's funny, I was excited when we signed him, much more than with GMS, as I thought he was a good player and would suit us, but after last season I thought I'd been wrong. He was just so poor. Now I knew he was being played out of position but it seemed more than that. Now that he's been playing his proper position for a while I think I see what it was: he's a player that needs to be constantly involved in the game. It can sometimes take him a wee while to get to grips with a game but he seems to get better as the game goes on. Out wide he wasn't involved in games that much, so never really got the time on the ball to play himself into the match, whereas in the middle he is constantly on the ball so it's much easier for him to get a feel for it. Anyway, delighted he has come good and still seems to be improving as well, which is good to see, long may it continue.

Really been enjoying watching Armstrong in this kind of form, hope he keeps it up. Not sure if he's the required quality for CL football, but just glad he's a hit bit of form recently.

People questioning whether he is good enough for CL have a right to do so. However, his performance away to BMG where he bossed it with Brown surely shows he has the credentials.

I think if Stu continues this form, there is no reason whatsoever that he wouldn't do it in the CL. He is in the form of his life at a great team and the fans are the Best in Europe. I can see Scotland caps and CL plenty in the hoops. Future Captain? He is getting so much experience early in his career. Just needs to keep his feet on the ground and keep his consistency. He is quickly becoming a fans favourite. I always knew he had it in him and said last season he could be a New Paul Lambert. But now he has been positioned properly, he does do more a Petrov role.

To a tee mate. He also seems very humble whenever he speaks.

Of course he can do it in Europe.

He's been outstanding in the league the last couple of months, scoring important goals and rising to the occasion every time it counts. MOTM yesterday, away against the huns when we had to fight to win. That's a huge test of character and he came through with flying colours.

What's strange about those pictures is Armstrong is far from our biggest player yet for some reason he looks giant compared to the hun there. Don't know it it's a trick of the camera or he's really that muscular.

What's the zombie complaining about anyway, Armstrong is nowhere near him.

I think we need a really high quality DM to partner Broony in Europe but I'd love Armstrong to play in front of them as he's very dynamic and can make a lot of things happen with his boundless energy. He's blocked a few goals already this season, scored a few and created a few assists so he's an all round player which is excellent. I'd say he's good enough for Europe if he's surrounded by quality too.

Aye that's exactly it, it looks like he's trying to chop him down and Armstrong just ignores him and speeds off like a supercar to his Hyundia Dragon tail fail. The fact he's nearly greetin in the second picture ffs what a riddy :nonono:

I'm sure that Garner practises headers with a medicine ball because he thinks it's healthy and that's why he wears the bandage and is brainless going into tackles, another one who came off pretty badly yesterday after a silly challenge. He's got loads of bookings as well, what a liability. He probably had to use the NHS hospital because he can't get insurance.

Plastic hard men. Remember when Broony was injured and they blitzed him last year, Holt bloodied him with an elbow? Hilarious now seeing them * it from every area of the pitch against him when he's 100%..

Pish bottle job's who couldn't lace our midfielders boot's..

Garner 1.8 mill for a diving *. Dembele the hunskelper for a packet of crisps :party048:

Not sure why its a question as to whether or not he can do it in the UCL? Thought he was great against BMG, Barcelona, and away to Manchester City. Nothing outstanding, but he showed great energy and ability on the ball. Domestically he's been absolutely incredible as we all know, but I thought he was very capable in the group stages, no reason why he can't replicate that this summer.

Oh * aye I remember that about Broony now because that's part of why his drop in form was so upsetting, it was like a shell of his normal self and seeing * take advantage of him gave me the rage too cause you just knew, if he was right in the head they'd be all * themselves and that's what it's like.

Love that about Broony this season, said it in the match thread I think, anywhere he is on the pitch this season he owns it, like be bosses it and no one can touch him. Like even when he stood on top of the advertising, he was saying, this is my patch, yous sit in your seats and sing your * wee songs, I boss this place down here, and they fecking knew it too!

Can't believe they paid £1.8m for Garner. I mean I've not seen a lot of him but the two league OF games he just looked like a complete idiot diving into players trying to get a foul and coming off worse. It's such a blatant tactic you'd think once he started hurting himself and getting loads of bookings he'd pack it in but nope
