Today's game kinda summed up Armstrong. In the first half hour when they were well on top I thought he disappeared out the game totally. Once we scored and took control of the game he really came on to a game and put in a strong performance. He's not a player I feel can be trusted when we're in a backs to the wall situation but when we're on top in a game he has quite a lot to offer.

To be fair, I thought just about the entire team was awful in that first 30 mins. Even Brown was looking lost.

We looked absolutely rattled, goes to show you that this team can go a goal down in an important game away from home in a vile atmosphere and still come back and win the thing while not playing at our full potential.

Some of Armstrongs runs into the box are just beautiful.

They blew their load the first 30 and for me the only guy that took plaudits in that period was Armstrong.

Fast becoming a player Rodgers can place all sorts of responsibility on.

Still think his best position is in the middle with Brown but was immense today wherever he was on the pitch.

As much as I am a huge fan of Brown, I would agree. Brown was out of the game until he made that tackle (around 22-25 minutes).

I think after that we grew into the game and eventually took control of it.

As mentioned, I thought the whole team was generally off form the first 30 minutes but I chose Armstrong as MOTM because I thought he put in an excellent performance wherever he was on the pitch. He made some good defensive interventions and was very good going forward. He links up very well with our forward players which makes him invaluable at the moment.

Incredible turnaround and what a performance!

Improving week by week, so refreshing to see. His shirt to lose.

Turning into a super signing is Armstrong. The dramatic change in form is obviously due to Rodgers playing him in his correct position. Great player for relieving the pressure as well with long, bursting runs 40 yards up the pitch. Should have taken 1 of his 3 chances yesterday but credit to Fotheringham for the close-range save in particular.

Tbf I think their keeper done really well for a lot of our chances rather than wasteful finishing.

Yes, I gave Fotheringham credit but better finishing for the one Wilson got his head on and the one from inside the box was placed in a suitable area to save. We've seen SA score some crackers recently.

That was going right into the corner had Wilson not got a touch, was a brilliantly taken effort, first time on his weaker foot. Was stood right behind goal and thought it was in, even that * Provan was on about it.

His contributions to keeping the ball retention fluid throughout the season under Rodgers has been absolutely outstanding. Vital player in our squad.

He has to be one of the first names on the teamsheet now. He was excellent in that second half.

Loving him this season. His box to box and energy is brilliant. His one twos - pass, turn and move forward - are excellent, creates nice space and attack. His footwork is good and he has the skill and agility in his game.

    Brilliant from him this season.
