i watched the game with my pal whose a man united fan. He thought armstrong was our best player. The boy has some engine, his performance tonight reminded me of the san siro a couple of seasons ago

 

Amazed at how Armstrong has grown this season. Chuffed for him.

 

And people thought Henderson was a better player than him

Hope we get him on a new long term contract. Runs out in 2018.

Which he has been doing for the last wee while and something Rodgers has continually highlighted.

 

Thought he had a great game. Just seemed to be everywhere.

 

The one moment that probably sums up where he is now confidence wise was the turn on Zabaleta when he got brought down, good skill and composure, knew he could take a sore one as well but knew he was doing him.

I actually think he would've made a point of going off if that was him last year..

Definitely copped a sore one and was struggling but stayed on. Turning in to a good player alright..

 

Turning into one of our best players

 

He's like the player Stefan Johansen should have been.

 

Anyone hear his interview there? The most articulate player in the squad, surely?

 

Wanted him to do well. Played out of position last year, everyone knew that, but he still got a fair amount of stick. Has improved greatly this year. Always like to see Scottish players break into the team and hold down a position.

I thought he wasn't good enough.

Then he served me humble pie

Now he's fast becoming one of my favourite players.
