He's become a ridiculously high quality midfielder this season, stood toe to toe with the best of them and come out on top more often that not.

I remember not thinking much of him when he first arrived for £4.5m, I can imagine when he finally leaves I'll miss him more than any player since Larsson.

Excellent again. Always had a sort of soft sport for him and delighted to see him improve so much this season. Still guilty of giving the ball away quite regularly but always tracks back and tries to win it back.

He's becoming quite the powerhouse in our engine room. Definitely has a bright future in this team regardless of how we strengthen over the next few transfer windows.

I was actually calling for it when he first signed, he started so promisingly!

Mcgregor is also long due a call, we are not exactly flush with technical players.

According to someone on here the other day, he's just a * player with good hair and should be out the team for Commons :87:

Your summary of what I was saying is incorrect. I was referencing the fact nobody is even quoting Commons as even being part of the squad... currently. Armstrong is playing alongside Brown in Bitton's old role and doing well at the moment. What I said was that Commons is surely an option to replace Rogic from the bench in that position.

Feel free to quote me as my feelings on Armstrong have never wavered since he signed, he's frustrating as * but he has something.

Said this last year, was starting to wonder if I'd imagined what I'd seen at him at United.

Seems to be starting to hit that sort of run though, delighted for him. Even though he frustrated the * out of me for a long time.

Not for me... unless he can add some physicality to his game.

No chance he's Brown's long term replacement. He is, however, growing into a Celtic player at a rate of knots.

Not the same sort of player as Brown, doesn't have the dirty side to his game. What he does have is the ability to get into dangerous positions in and around the box and get behind the defence.

More like Joe Ledley than Brown.
