Was an unpopular player last season, and early this season. Hes improved so much by taken him off the wing. Best player today.

Goes to show working hard and you'll reap the rewards, the confidence he has gained under Rodgers is huge and now we are seeing him consistently perform at that level. Quickly becoming an important player for us.

Brendan has worked his magic on players like Brown,Forrest and Armstrong.Stu was always a willing runner but he is now playing with meaning and intent .We benefit so much from him now days ,and long may he continue performing like this.

It's interesting how Brendan has managed Armstrong (and others. Rogic, Forest, Simunovic) this season.
All have had game time restricted at certain points, until fitness levels are deemed suitable.

Armstrong in particular is currently benefitting from this, and looks to have nailed down a first team place now alongside Browny.

Fantastic today. Showed so much heart and passion, two assists and a goal. Outstanding from Armstrong. That was a captain like performance today

I suppose as well this is what happens when you play guys like Armstrong in their natural position, instead of trying to shoehorn them out on the wings.

Excellent excellent piece of work by Brendan, and excellent show of desire from Armstrong to get into contention in midfield.

Played well today, even first half when the majority of our team weren't at the races.

Great goal too, well done Stretch.

Absolutely superb today. His crosses were fantastic especially for the Roberts goal. With his weak foot as well. That's the player that I was expecting to see when he came here. Hopefully he keeps it up. Bitton has a real challenge to get back into the side.

Outstanding performance, however the same frustrating things still happened. Poor shooting and poor passes at times. If he eliminates this from his game he'll be one of our best players. He's seriously been changing my mind about him in recent times.

Mate, all our players will have poor passes and poor shots at times.

    That's why they are here.

He's * at shooting that'll never really change IMO.

His passing today for the most part was excellent. Couple of slack ones every player has, superb apart from that.

What he gave today was a proper responsible, driving, performance with end product. That'll do every week!

Aye but it's far too frequently with Armstrong, the potential is there without a doubt.

Positional play was outstanding, maybe looks like he could play the box to box midfield role we haven't really had since Stan Petrov.

Would love to pair him and Brown up with McCarthy.

Really hope he continues this form as he is a player I want to like. I've found that difficult at times.

He's been playing better recently but still hope he's nothing but a stop gap until we bring in better either January or next Summer.

Also, people even mentioning Armstrong and Petrov in the same sentence need sectioned.

Either way Bitton is out the door, and Armstrong plays back up so it's a win win situation
