It wasn't a mistake. Kayal was under-performing, therefore he was sold. It's not that difficult to understand. Sometimes a change of scenery is good for a player. Was selling Daryl Murphy a mistake? He was banging them in in the Championship after we sold him. Of course it wasn't a mistake.

And let's not be silly here, Kayal in his first season here was on another level to Bitton.

You've just said it yourself, Kayal was a great player for us before Mr Elbows put paid to that. Daryl Murphy however was guff so we were right to get rid. But we actually knew the quality Kayal did possess when on form and under the right manager like Brendan I'm convinced he would have flourished. So it was a mistake to get rid of him as opposed to Murphy.

Anyway I'm confident Bitton will get himself sorted soon.

Fact of the matter is Armstrong has earned a place over Bitton because Bitton has been absolutely gash.

No, it wasn't a mistake. Kayal got that injury in December 2011, we sold him in January 2015. He had around 3 years and never got back to the level he was at in his first season. That's more than enough time.

Yeah Armstrong deserves a start, Bitton has been poor in recent games.

Could have easily been a big money player if it where not for his injury

Like Joey Barton? Honestly the way some Scottish football fans talk about the English leagues as some sort of football utopia is embarrassing.

The championship is a woeful league. Just because it's competitive doesn't mean it's any good. This is a league we're someone like Neil Warnock is a visionary fucksake.

It's full of ex SPL footballers making a decent career for themselves as well but they make out players from here wouldn't last a second.

    Rockets.

Thought he played well today, but sort of faded out a bit near the end of the game.

He looks more aggressive than he used to be. Him and Brown should be the 2 in the middle for now anyway.

I love it when our players prove me wrong. Thought he was guaranteed to be sold in Jan. Staking a claim now.

He done well, never had much room to operate in and to burst forward especially Rogic playing who can pick up the ball deep. Covered the midfield area well and never shied away from tackles, good passing as well. Hopefully stays consistent, I think he needs to play on Tuesday.

Thought he was great today. Excellent first half + solid second half = great game.

    Keep it up Stretch.

Good today again, offers 10x more than Bitton. Still not convinced he's a good partner for Broony though.

Struggling to think what it is we need in there beside him.

Has earned his place in the team for midweek. I'm another he is proving wrong, thought he was hopeless last season and at the beginning of this season.

10x might be a wee bit of an exaggeration but open your eyes, Armstrong today offered a lot more than Bitton normally does.

He was making tackles, keeping the ball well and got in behind the defence once or twice. I think he does need to work on his shooting, but he's still a good goal threat from midfield.
