It's keeping it up that's the problem though. He has had good games for us in the past but always ends up retreating into his shell.

He has 2 months to turn his Celtic career round because we will buy CM(S) in January and he will find himself far down the pecking order.

I wouldn't mind having Stevie G at all. Great experience and will still be a decent footballer. Probably a bit pricey unless he's coming here to learn coaching then he might do it cheaper.

Anyone is better than Bitton. Was like 10 v 12 today with Bitton and Thompson. Bitton should never play for us again.

 

I think you will find many Celtic fans agreeing with that statement.
As for Gerard I would be for it, three times the player Biton is even at his age.
My only concern is his personality and willpower, might overshadow Broony.

 

Rodgers said any signing will have to be able to run, I'm not sure Stevie G will still have the legs for a Brendan Rodgers side.

 

Biton and Rogic both stroll. amble and jog a little in midfield.
My calculated guess is that Gerrard is quicker than both of them. He is the sort of player who looks after himself.

 

If he can bring some added clas to the team then im all for it but can he run, Kolo is a similar age and he gets about the pitch and still has pace.

Although replacing bitton who cant * run wouldnt be difficult

 

Definitely, Armstrong is in impact player. We need a good solid CM purchase in January hopefully.

 

Not ideal but he must start ahead of Bitton who has been utter * this year. Should never have even started yesterday after his performance Wednesday.

 

Had another good game when he came on, really like him as a player and when he plays in the middle he will out a shift in. Would be nice to see him start a few games instead of Biton

 

Two great cameos from the bench against the huns, done very well.

His shooting is powderpuff at best, makes Brown look like Juninho.

 

Hopefully Armstrong keeps this form up and he breaks into the Scotland Squad.
