The fact that it's being reported that we could pick up Bakkali(who knows about that mind you) GMS and Armstrong for a combined fee of just about £3.3m is insane.

If we actually have the opportunity to deal and pass that up then I'm done.:56:

Well, at first I wasn't bothered about signing him. But the longer it goes on the more I want us to sign him. It makes sense. His scoring record has been very good recently, he's young, Scottish and has plenty of time to further improve.

It's just * me off that Celtic, who obviously want him, are again ripping the hole out of it.

If we don't get this guy I'll lose the head. Sick of the likes of Armstrong going South.

They aren't going to deal with us even if we do offer £2.5mil. They will just reject and ask for more then sell him to an English team for less

I would love it if i was wrong though

I expected stokes to step up yesterday but in all honesty he was posted missing against inferior opposition. Thought that game would have suited him. Armstrong is at least a level up from stokes.

Celtic: Dundee Utd reject Mackay-Steven and Armstrong bids

[IMG] By Jim Spence BBC Sport
Celtic have had two separate bids rejected by Dundee United for Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong.
Scotland winger Mackay-Steven, 24, has already agreed to join Celtic in the summer and the Scottish champions offered £150,000 to take him now.
Celtic had a £1.5m offer for Scotland Under-21 cap Armstrong rejected last week and their latest offer is believed to have been just under £1.6m.
Burnley also had a bid rejected for the 22-year-old midfielder.
United defeated Aberdeen 2-1 at Hampden Park on Saturday and will meet Celtic in the final of the Scottish League Cup after the Scottish champions' 2-0 victory over Rangers on Sunday.
And United will ask for at least 17,500 tickets for the 15 March showpiece.
The Tannadice board will also request that tickets outside of the corporate and main stand be priced at a maximum of £25 for adults and £10 for concessions.
One director told BBC Scotland: "We want to ensure as big a crowd as possible for the game, which we are sure the sponsors would want too.
"The game is being played in winter and, to make sure the game attracts as big a crowd as a possible, we will ask for tickets to be priced at a reasonable level.
"That is very important for the fans of both clubs when money is tight."
It is believed that United will also ask for the Toryglen end of the stadium to be reserved for their fans at a planning meeting on Tuesday with the Scottish Professional Football League about the final.
However, BBC Scotland has learned that the SPFL will stick with tradition and allocate that end of the ground to Celtic fans.

This is the one I really want to see done today. I think he could well prove to be a great signing for us. If we could get in Armstrong and GMS, along with Duffy and keeping the likes of VVD, it would represent a strong window for us.
