I don't know why a Celtic fan would attempt to fool his fellow supporters. What a * that guy is on Twitter, attention seeking moron.

Oh aye def. Its some desperate sado really wanting to feel important. Low risk strategy in the 'feeling important' stakes. Club highly linked with a player. If it materialises the sado says 'see I told you, now pay homage' if it doesn't the sado says 'it was definitely on the go, obviously talks broke down'. As I say, low risk for the discerning desperate sado.

Every player has a price, and if a big offer were to come in for Armstrong, then I have no doubts they would accept. It's easy saying no player will leave when there hasn't been any significant bids made for any player.

So Burnley want him as well now. Well played Celtic, delay and delay and let another team come in for him.

Hopefully it was just a "testing the water" bid and now we know where we stand we'll make a proper bid...hopefully.

Lets remember it was "Sky Sources" that two weeks ago said we had made an approach, only for Dundee Utd to turn round and say they were talking *.

Having made some checks I'm told there hasn't as yet been an official bid from @celticfc for @dundeeunitedfc midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

Sky Sports News turn transfer deadline day into a soap opera. Generally don't beleive * all that 'sky sources' reveal. That being said would absolootly love Armstrong in this window. * me, throw in GMS and i'll be properly chuffed.

It'll be Lawwell feeding them * again, to make it look like we're actively trying to spend the £12 million we raked in last transfer window.

"It's not Lawwell's fault! Dundee United just wouldn't deal with us!" will be heard in many a Celtic pub as deluded Lawwell lovers speak *. The same drivel that was heard when we let Fletcher and McCarthy go down south.
