Can someone explain this? Strachan takes a 2nd string team to Japan on a 12 hour flight. They play an in-form side who are half way through their season, it's 30 degrees, high humidity and most of the players are jet lagged. So we play poorly and lose. He then holds a press conference and slags the * out of the players.

Yesterday, we were * poor at Tynecastle, had one real effort on goal and could have(should have), lost by 3 or 4 goals, the defence was a joke and his pal Telfer gave the ball away nearly every time he had it. What does WGS say after the match?
"Two mistakes cost us the game but we defended set pieces well"
What a load of bollox, how can he say that? How can he slag off a reserve team in a friendly and then defend the clowns that turned out yesterday?

I for one am getting sick listening to him. He might be funny when he's somebody elses manager but he's an idiot if he thinks he can take the * out of Celtic fans.

what a joke he said after the game in japan he only had 15/16 players he could consider 1st team think that might be down to around 5/6 at best. someone needs a shake but i dont think its as bad as last season.

That is a very good point there, he better open his eyes and realise that being a smooth talker (like he TRIES to be) isnt going to win him games or respect from the Celtic fans.

Gordon is way too flippant with the press gang and they will have him for breakfast if 3 to 4 quality players don't arrive before the CL begins.I would much rather have simple straight talking telling us what went wrong and how he's going to fix it.If he thought that the Celtic defence handled things ok yesterday then that is a serious worry.Hearts bullied Celtic plain and simple.When was the last time we could have said that about a Celtic team.Time for action Gordon and soon.

i was willing to give him a shot, as he is a passionate man and, well, everyone deserves a shot, but i think it's time to say that he is a great pundit and a mediocre manager..

i think his failing is his ego.. he is denial when things go wrong (think souness at newcatle)..

he takes his managerial template from ferguson when, in all honesty, the modern game has moved on.. that boot camp style can no longer cut it, and ferguson has only stayed afloat himself due to the masses of money he has at his disposal, where one out of five buys will come good.. (even a broken clock is right twice a day!!) otherwise, he's a has been, and united are decining..

we can't afford those luxuries, so we won't get anywhere near competing with europes best, and will sink a lot faster

did u hear when strachan was getting interviewed ... the * hearts team where noising him up in the background ya could clearly hear them saying ..

Strachan your pish ... yer maws a rottweiler etc...

they were also singing hullo hullo" throughout the game... if you want to talk about sectarianism.

wit the * are youse all on gs isnt the problem nor is it his ego or his attitude toward us or the press its his budget ,* me quinn and desmond must jumping for delight at again promising us the world right up to our first deposit for our books then yanking the rug from under us you can only * with the * youve got they are going to end up downsizing us to maryhill juniors if we dont stop looking for scapegoats cos its the shepard that runs the pen
