uh oh, people are jumping ship. It's about to get kimjongil around here.

 

See if people dont stfu about Gordon Strachan I swear to *....... Wee Gordon is brilliant manager for Celtic. THe one who still wont back him simply dont like the guy as a person. The only side we see of wee Gordon is when he speaks to the media, and he's a different guy then. Martin O'Neil used to come out if we'd got beat and moan about decisions and tackles and unluckyness. Strachan very rarely does this and seems publically anyway to accept defeat as part of the game. The fans hate that and it doesnt matter how much success he has they will never take to him because of this. I think this is a shocking way of looking at it. How can you slate the guy with a record like that? He came back from obscurity last season to win the title, that is the measure of his resolve and his will to win for Celtic. He is a good tactician, and astute manager and a good man-manager too. If people aren't willing to back our most successful manager since Stein then please stay away from Parkhead - cause your not helping the cause!

When did blind loyalty to a manager you don't rate become a pre requisite for attending a game?

spot on mate WGS is the best manager most of us have seen in the job and its about time we started to show it the media and the huns love the split in our camp its time for a WGS song to show the man we back him and the team all the way to 4 in a row

Simply not true.
The reason a huge number of fans don't rate him is because of his awful record in the transfer market and his very questionable tactics at times (Remember McDonald being taken off against 10 man Motherwell?).

Also he's simply embarrassing in front of the cameras at times.

A lot of people agree we've missed a chance to be light years away from Rangers just now and had we the right manager we would be streets ahead right now AND have 3 titles in the bag.

If the signings improved BIG STYLE and the brand of football got better i'm sure almost everyone would back him.

So whats with all the negativity about Celtic?
We are supposed to be the best supporters in the world! Not some spoiled kids moaning about 180 mins of football that didn't go our way!
So we never signed C.Ronaldo,D.Villa or S.Gerrard,
So we never beat the Rankers at Celtic Park,
So fekin what! There's always the next game!

Were not Rankers fans, moaning and complaining is their job!

Liste to the Pink floyd song "eclipse" while reading this, it syncs up for some reason.

 

I'm no keen on him because the football we play is absolutely crap and like watching paint drying.
You cant argue with his record though, maybe he's another alex ferguson (and naw no a hun ) and remember he was within a game or 2 of being sacked and now he's the most successfull manager in england.

 

I hope the manager was watching Scotland tonight. He'd have learned a thing or two about his midfield.

 

Aye, we should buy that Fletcher boy and start playing with McDonald alone up front.

 

Best game ive seen Brown play for a while, maybe we should give him and Robbo cop a run of games together in the centre what you's think?

 

Robson should be starting for Celtic week in, week out and as a centre Midfielder not a right winger!

 

I didn't think Brown was overally impressive yesterday, apart from the last 10 minutes when he helped hold back Iceland.

Money's tight in the SPL of course, this means you need to be shrewd in the transfer market.

He thought Adam Virgo was worth £1.5m of our money!
He thought Jiri Jarosik was worth £2m of our money!
He thought Massimo Donati was worth £2m of our money.
He thought Thomas Graveson was worth £2m (Also had to pay him £1.2m to leave!) of our money.
He thought Scott Brown was worth £4.4m of our money.
He thought Andreas Hinkel was worth £2m of our money.

The above is just a wee selection of the 30 odd duds he's bought. That's about £15m not including wages. Not a small amount.
Some people say players like Brown, Graveson, Jarosik etc WERE decent players and looked like good signings. So WHY can't WGA get a performance out of them?

I HATE to say this but i'm convinced he'll be found out very soon, he can't go on getting lucky with players like the examples given above.
