Strachan (Threads Merged)

I contribute 3 seats being filled as i take my kids, who will in turn buy their own tickets and so the support goes on.
I don't disgrace the club by singing filthy stinking IRA songs or chant sectarian rants.
I cheer the team and encourage them like anyone else, i celebrate every goal.
On Sunday i walked out after 77 minutes for the first time in 26 years of attending OF games, so disgusted was i at strachan's choice of players and our * performance, such is my right to do.

 

I NEVER said i didn't support him from the beginning, please read properly. I said i DID support him and defended his record despite reservations.
My condemnation is based on what i've posted re his awful signings and tactics in certain games and the belief he's getting found out.

 

Didn't realise it was a contest and someone would 'win'.

You think i somehow want us to lose so i can say 'I told you so' about strachan?
You arrogant or stupid enough to think ANY of you support celtic more than i do?

As i said before, smith won was it 5 or 6 titles with the huns and it wasn't because he was a good manager, other circumstances came into play (We were *).
When competition arrived he got found out, BIG STYLE.

That's what's happening now, wgs is getting found out big style.
So if we get * this year does that mean i 'win'?

I thought it means we all lose.

OK so strachan is sacked! well done... now who do we bring in? keegan, o'leary? or some other * who will * this club!

we are winning... 3 in a row... what has th e guy got to do to get a break. aye his tactics were *, but if he played the normal team and we got * there would be someone complaining that he doesnt mix it up, and whats the point in buying brown if we don't play him ect.

just accept that he is here for the season and support the club!

 

read all the replies 2 say we won the league because of ufea cup is hiding the picture huns only beat 2 teams twice away in league al season one top six team hibs at easter road only some crazy results by us inverness etc we would have won by a bigger margin as for europe mons team had a good home record * away from home did the fans win them their home games 2 give us a break they won with a collection of things fans players we breaks at right times most of all never say die attitude by players left back? i think weve been lookin for a good one since big tg

i am happy with WGS but i am not happy with his signings i think we need to appoint someone who knows a player when he sees one to do this for WGS i know we have scouts etc but i mean someone with previous managerial experience who thinks both like a manager and a scout so you get the best of both worlds when deciding if a player is right for Celtic, personally id appoint Davie Hay as the person to do this he did a great job for Tommy Burns finding Di Canio, Cadette, Van Hooijdonk in recent times and the likes of Brian McClair, Mo Johnston (I know he's a * but the guy was a player when he was at celtic) Basically i feel he has a good insight into where to look and who will fit the bill for a certain roll.

 

Hey boys we best watch out, we could end up losing WGS to Newcastle with all his achievements

Did anyone see the odds list on Sky sports for that Job, no need to panic lads WGS wasn´t on it.

 

WGS is well quoted down south mate.....if he was not at celtic he would probably be a candidate / press rumour if he was not in work. There are only 4 bigger managerial jobs in british football apart from the ones he is in at the moment.

 

People in jobs have been given odds, short odds, if he was rated so highly he would be amongst the favourites rumour or not. I am sure he´s probably on their somewere though maybe around 50s.
