There are the 2 injured as well, Elyounoussi & El Mohammed. Taylor will be moving into the trusted shortly as well. What side is Rogic on when / if fit?

Aye the 2 El's I've forgot to add to be fair. Both trusted definitely..

Taylor could be but it's hard to say either way so far but he's been third choice mostly bar a couple of game's so I wouldn't say he's trusted much as it stands..

Rogic is sublime on his day mate but I genuinely couldn't tell you his last quality game for us?

He doesn't deserve to be in the trusted camp because he's never fit and hasn't been right for a long time..

The new hun head of recruitment already said his first job is to downsize their squad. They’ll be needing cash very soon as well.

As for squad depth Lenny hasn’t used it really due to our run of results so keeping consistency and injuries - Hatem, Boli, Hayes, Jonston, Mo, Eddy, Griff etc.

With a fully fit squad we have competition in near every position, add in a centre back, sitting mid and striker then we’ll be flying.

I was just saying this to my lad. They need money and it’s the biggest issue in Scottish football and the media won’t touch it. I have no fear that we will lose the league. We won’t. We don’t need a big overhaul either, just motivation and a striker. I’m happy the squad we have will win us another title and we were all creaming over our play in first half of the season a few games aside. We have the experience, the guile and I trust these guys. These * are papering over the cracks and aim that accusation at us even though we are on ten trophies in a row.

OK. Only seen it not long after the match and hadnt heard about it being not as bad as first thought.
Now just need to see if SFA are going to ban him as part of their hun title agenda.

The whole they don't have the depth, will drop numerous points to absolute * pish teams or they will sell there best players argument is just bollocks tbh, they've lost 2 domestic games all season and they were to us they aint suddenly going to lose loads of games to sides they've beaten with relative ease already, yes they will drop points at some point but so will we and it wont be very often. They have a good starting 11 and subs that would walk into every other SPL team bar ours, and theres absolutely no chance they are suddenly going to sell their best players in Jan when this is there best chance to win the league in 8 years.

This is going to be a * gruelling 2nd half of the season, neither us or them are going to drop many points so its vital that we beat them in both league games remaining and also capitalise on any slip they make. This transfer window is massive not only for our domestic season but for our Europe campaign, I would like to see more rotation in games that we should win with ease which is most games at home, it doesn't have to be 6-7 changes it only has to be 2-3 but giving players like McGregor, Brown, Eddy, Forest ect a rest is massive, the huns give wasp muncher a break every fews games and bring him on if needs be, we could really be doing with another class CF so we can do the same with Eddy & also another CM to give McGregor or Brown a rest, would also like to see Rogic more involved in the 2nd half of the season, far too good to be sat on the bench.

Tough 5 months ahead, our squad and starting 11 is much better than the current buns, if we play with the same consistency that we have in the first half of the season and win our games vs them we will win the league, but the last 2 games have shown that Gerrard isn't a moron, he has tactically out done us and more worryingly they have out played us and out fought us in both games bar the last half hour in the cup final, they are going to be chomping at the bit to win this title so its vital we * fly out the traps come the end of jan and * these * up.

Totally agree. The only loan deals that would be acceptable this January are as you say are ones for the likes of a Wanyama. The type pf loan deals we did last January simply will not be enough this season.

I totally agree. That was maybe the biggest part of my disappointment with last Sunday was we simply did not show up. I could not believe that as I was expecting a real reaction after how we played at Hampden and amazingly that did not materialize. My worry is that while you can call this a wake up call and it certainly should be it we still have to wake up. That remains to be seen whether we will both in terms of the January window where clearly we have to strength and on the field in terms of mentality and a real hunger to win this title when for so long we really have not been genuinely threatened.

You may well be correct in that the 4 derby games will decide the outcome but assuming the zombies win their game in hand then as things stand with 18 to play that is not the case as it is 3 points we have taken off each other and we are down by 1 based on the results against all the other teams. So right now the title is being decided based on the results against the rest.
I think for the most part your right about how the derby games have gone performance wise since the first one last season with one exception. I though the second home one last season under Lennon we completely dominated them that day as well.

I really hope your right but there is no question the threat is real for the league this season.

100% spot on. We have had our wake up call. But we actually have to wake up now. Whether we will or not that remains to be seen.

I hope your right. But I have to say I expected a big reaction to the League Cup Final. performance
I have to say I was thinking that about how they celebrated after the final whistle yesterday. That alone should be motivation enough for us to get our act in gear.

I think Morelos is up for grabs I can see them selling him if they get any kind of bid over 5m and blame his exit on racism. Then again his recent behaviour may have killed off their hopes of flogging him. Beyond the Morleos situation though I agree with you they will spend even more money this January and not give a toss about the financial consequences. They just won't care and clearly the league could care less that they clearly are living well beyond their financial means so to speak.

Good post, takes in everything we're facing. Is it really a big deal? Isn't it just better we have competition? It's very easy for them becuase they have nothing to lose and are used to losing everything. We can't get carried away thinking about a number because when Jock and the Lions created a legendary era they weren't worried about numbers. Kinda wish we could rinse it.
