His tactics are literally non existent, we have zero ideas, zero style to our play, zero patterns of play etc. When you watch the treble documentary from last year, one thing the players went on and on about was the gameplan and tactics being * hammered in to them that much, it became second nature.

They knew every second of the match where they were to be, where their team mates were to be, where the ball would be ... It was as detailed as could be. You could tell just by watching, the second Ange came in, he had a way of playing and what we were trying.

This is * pish. Baffling. Then his team selections, it's erratic as *. Players no seen for months, come in, play well, benched, bombed out ! It's all over the place. It's clear as *, he's not got the same hunger and desire, he's a different animal from the first time. Win or lose this year, (can't see us winning) I'd be getting a new man in next season. This is pish.

I don't think he'll be here next season regardless of whether we fluke the title or not.

For that reason, he isn't worth keeping now if he'll be gone at the end of the season anyway.

No point waiting until February or March like we did with Lennon.

January winter break would give us some time to get a new man in. The new manager bounce could see us over the line.

 

Also, Knetil Knutsen would more than likely be available to come here, given it's the end of their season.

 

My fear is that we aren't proactive like that.

Even if we lose to the Huns, and the gap turned into 6-8 points, Desmond etc. would be saying ah well we can still do this.

We'll leave it too late and Kennedy will be interim for a few months like the Covid season.

 

The guy is a massive overachiever. We need that in Europe, and if we accept the argument that our roster contains a lot of dross, also domestically.

We'll see if DD and Lawwell are hungry for Mars bars, or not.

 

I don't want him to go. I've made that much clear because I think he's a smaller part of the problem.

I think he has to go, though. With the history of everything and the toxic atmosphere around the club. But I agree, there is no way in which he is sacked. I think he might move on after the January transfer window if he doesn't get what he wants and I think if he did, he would have large parts of the fanbase back onside because he would more than likely call out the broken promises and lack of quality.

See if we were to bring in Knutsen. It would still require us to bring in players to play his style. Just like we needed to do in the summer to suit Rodgers style.

 

With the Norwegian and Swedish leagues both finished, I'm sure we could pick up some decent Scandi players.

 

He could make use of Lagerbielke too. Instead of us selling him on a loss. Holm would find it easier, too.

 

Rodgers' style is * aids.

 

I really don't see 2 players returning from injury being what drags us out of this malaise. Especially considering one of those was thrown under the bus much sooner than the rest. Rodgers has no track record of turning a downward spiral like this around when things go sour under him they only get worse.

As for recruitment, rodgers has shown time and time again that he can't be trusted with transfers, both here and elsewhere.

 

Having Abada, Maeda, Hatate and Iwata back will be a huge help to the first team. 3 of the 4 are literally first team starters, in my opinion.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that starting Abada over Yang/Johnstone, Hatate over Turnbull/Bernardo and having Maeda and Iwata on the bench doesn’t make that team miles better?

By all means, question Rodgers but let’s not get ridiculous.

 

It will help, but IMO, the dressing room atmosphere is so dire we may never go on a good run.

 

Judge him when he has his own players in.

Cant be judging him while having to deal with the latest shower of * signed by the lawwell muppets.
