    I'm not surprised he chose us, what with the massive Liverpool-Celtic connection that apparently exists.

    It's for charity though so I don't see why anyone would take offence.

    Unless they're a Man Utd "fan" and they'd prefer an upstanding member of the community, such as Giggs or Rooney, to play against us instead.

    I don't mind him and wouldn't be against this. I get pretty fed up with our club being used by the English for testimonials when they all vote against us playing in their league but it's not really doing any harm.
