Donati hast played to well pre season but cant judge him on that. JVOH yes cost less than sutton and hartson maybe thats what you get for 3 miilion these days although im not sayind he is¨a bad box player. As for Brown I think he will prove to be a quality signing for the club. but if your talking about budgets im not sure it is wise to spend most of it on potential when we have just lost one of the most experianced midfielder in the game in Lennon.

As for pressley he was never a player infact he was even an embarasment many years ago at coventry Im not sure but I think maybe WGS was his manager then surely he knew what he was getting when he signed for celtic a diddy

When last season ended it was obvious that we had a problem scoring goals. My memory might be playing tricks on me but I thought that back then there was a consensus that we needed a quality striket to take us further in Europe. To me that was the priority and still is.

Miller is garbage and I cannot see Zurawski refinding the form he enjoyed in his first season. MacDonald and Killen are back up for me. Therefore we are still short up front.

But I do agree that we need a full back and possibly a winger.

Pressley makes me almost physically sick

He is honestly abysmal and the the lack of pace is extremely worrying

I think it has been made quite clear Mcdonald will be Jvoh partner and I think he is a good player better than zurawski anyway. I think if he keeps his chin up he can score 20+ goals and for pressley we should keep him but for back-up.

Agreed. Pressley was a neccessary signing when JK was out and O'Dea was unproven but he's well past his sell-by-date. If he is one of Strachan's 1st choice CB's next season I'll be miffed to say the least.

Its worrying for me that WGS signed Pressley at coventry and now at celtic. He obviously rates him and that means he could have faith in him no matter what. I'm hoping strachan is seeing these games as not just fitness workouts and see's what a liability Pressley is becoming. The lack of pace is horrid, its really a joke. At least with someone like Hyppia who lacks pace his reading of the game is so good but Pressley has nothing. His ball distribution is awful and all he can do is boot the ball 70 yards. Old fashioned british defender who hasnt the ability or brain to adapt to the modern game.

Absoloutly spot on, Also if we all can see how rank rotten he is then surely the powers that be must be worried that WGS judgement of a player may not be the best, Especialy if he is given a starting spot.

Yes- he is a liability at the back (as was Baldé last season).

Balde had a stomach injury at the start of last season and then broke his leg in november so he missed most of the season. But he was still more affective than pressley. lol
