Have only seen him against Sevastopol, won't be reaching a conclusion any time soon, but he looks quite slow. Then again, our whole team pretty much looked *.

No major risk with a 1 year contract, if Lenny thinks he's good enough, that's good enough for me. -
Wasteful move, we have plenty of cover in CB now this can only mean one thing then that someones off - probably gonna be ambrose
-
The only risk, which is largely negated with a one year contract, is his injury record which is undoubtedly grim. However, proper medical reports are seemingly being prepared, and his talent has never been in doubt.
The major risk for me is if he comes in, gets fully fit, is superb and then we lose him after 12 months for * all! -
We have Fraser and findlay as up and coming CB's, we hardly ever give youth a chance at CB - a reason for that being maybe we've hardly had any good defenders coming from the youth system but now these two look to have potential and should be given a chance especially Fraser over Mouyokolo. -
This guy is not going to be a first team player anyway.
Replacement for Rogne (who was also back up), in my eyes. Like Rogne, he struggles with injuries too. -
No harm in this move.

* this *, why dont you play a academy player as a backup cb, when you have atleast 3-4 for cb?
-
I'm not expert at all but I don't think cb is our strongest position in the under 20's. Particularly with Fraser injured.

Leaves us with Wilson, Mulgrew, Van Djik and Ambrose.
2 of them will be utilised in midfield more than anything. -

Would rather have him and not need him than need him and not have him. Cedric Mongongu would have been my preferred option though

Have you even seen Mouyokolo play? He's a complete back up.
Adam Matthews has been picking up injuries, Lustig is a right back who very rarely finishes a game due to slight knocks he picks up.
It would be madness not to have a short term fix, the fact it is only a year contract tells me that Lenny rates Fraser highly and he's here until he is back.
Which is promising. This guy is Gershon's replacement, nothing more. -
No thanks. Played less than 12 first class games in last 3 years, mostly due to injury, and now aged 26. The SPL will take care of itself. We need players that will enhance our chances in CL. Money/wages spent on 'back ups' means less available for first team additions. Have to say that with CL almost upon us, I get distinct feeling that our spending power depends on Big Vic going, which is surprising given the money the Club pulled in last season from CL. If we are serious about the CL then we need quality with pace at the back and creativity in the middle - graft won't do for a second year.
