I'm still certain we must have signed a striker, there's surely no way we're going to plod on with 3 strikers; one of which is short of confidence, one is injury prone and the other isn't scoring at the same rate as last year.

We are badly struggling in the league and are shipping in a barrel load of goals eithout scoring our selves

same old same old! its beyond a joke now. i hate when we buy players and dont use them. its * pointless. the only reason we buy them is so they cant do damage to our title bids. its always been the same. riordan being the perfect example n i think flood will end up the same :31:

The only way we will spend serious cash is if the huns win the league, cos as long as we keep winning the board WONT spend anything as they will think why fix something that aint broke

But we ALL know it is broke but as long as we keep winning our Board WONT spend serious cash

    Hibs' stance frustrates Fletcher

Fletcher displays his goal-scoring skills against Celtic

Hibs striker Steven Fletcher's agent says the 21-year-old feels "let down" by the club after they blocked Celtic's attempts to sign him.
The Easter Road club rebuffed their SPL rivals, despite Celtic saying they had made "substantial offers".
"Steven is extremely disappointed and feels let down by Hibs," agent Scott Fisher told BBC Scotland.
"Hibs were unwilling to give Celtic a concrete figure and so we were unable to conclude a deal."
Scotland star Fletcher trained as usual with his Hibernian team-mates on Monday morning and remains at Easter Road after the January transfer window closed at 1700 GMT.

But Fisher says his client believes Hibernian are impeding his chances to progress.
"He feels he is not getting the opportunity to further his career," added Fisher.
The Edinburgh club dismissed an approach on Friday from Celtic to hold talks over a possible transfer for the highly-rated forward.
And his manager Mixu Paatelainen also urged Fletcher not to leave Easter Road this season.
"I'm confident he will stay. We had a chat and I told him I don't think it's the right time," said Paatelainen.
BBC Scotland had learned that Celtic were originally willing to offer a player plus cash for Fletcher, who is under contract at Hibs until 2013.
But, following news of Celtic's interest, Hibs released a statement, saying: "Hibernian FC rejected a verbal approach from an SPL club to discuss the potential transfer of Steven Fletcher. No further discussion is planned."
Fletcher, who has scored six goals this season, missed Hibernian's 1-1 draw with Motherwell due to suspension.
After the match, Paatelainen, responding to questions on Fletcher's future, said: "Eventually in football, there is a time when a player moves on. I don't feel the time is right yet.

"I don't think it's difficult for him to be honest (that the approach from Celtic was turned down); from a players' point of view, he realises he is doing things right."
Last season's Scottish Football Writers' young player of the year, who made his Hibs debut in April 2004, was linked with a host of clubs in the summer, including Real Madrid and Middlesbrough.
Celtic have made a habit of plundering Hibs in recent seasons, with Fletcher's Scotland team-mates Scott Brown and Gary Caldwell now regulars at Celtic Park.
Derek Riordan returned to Easter Road at the beginning of this season, having left to join Celtic in 2006 but finding first-team opportunities hard to come by.
Meanwhile, Chris Killen made the same move a year later, only to struggle with form and injuries before moving to Norwich on loan this weekend.
