    Fletcher is over-rated, if he's not good enough for sunderland that says it all....would rather pay less and buy Leigh griffiths who's proved he can score a barrel load in the spl.

    Best striker they have by a distance for me.

    He was only benched in the last game because down there a couple of poor games and managers panic big time.

    We didn't sign him when he was at hibs, no way we'll sign him now. He's done great down there and is good enough for that level. He won't want to move down a level of football and wages just to play a couple of games in the CL every year, then St.Mirren and the likes most of the time. He won't improve and will be on less money.

    He's a cracking player. But £6million for someone who has in all seriousness had a fair amount of injury problems in recent seasons. We might be interested, but that's all it is....interested.
    No chance we'll sign him. And if he were to go anywhere it'll more than likely be another EPL team.

    Unfortunately, that's the biggest downside to Steven Fletcher.

    I'd much rather see us test Blackburn's resolve with a bid for Jordan Rhodes.

    Would love that but he cost £8 million and was the only good thing about Blackburn Rovers season last year.

    Seems as if he is carrying them this season aswell.

    Better chance getting Fletcher.
