    No thanks? Are you serious?

Would * all over the place if we pulled that one off.

No way could we afford his transfer fee or wages though. Non starter.

Load of pish, but I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

*cue x amount of nonsense posts about how we never splashed the cash on him while he was at hibs........

He's undoubtedly a good player but given the money that would be involved I think we should look elsewhere, that is if there is any truth in this anyway.

    Isn't he on like 40-50 k a week?.

I would take him, but he would probably need to take a pay cut to join which i don't see him doing as he could probably get the amount he is on just now at another EPL club plus sunderland will be wanting to get most of the money back they paid for him.

It's a non starter for loads of reasons, one of them, well the main one being money and what he could earn down there rather than what we could offer him..

Has he not had trouble with injuries recently? If not, I'd love him here. Better late than never. No way we'll spend £6m on him, mind, and I'm not sure if I'd rather him or Jóhansson or maybe even Finnbogason for that money.

I have to say this excites me. I think he is a top player. Scored a decent amount of goals in three limited premier league sides. Physical presence and scores different kinds of goals. The only issue I'd have is he seems to be made of glass. If we are going to spend £6mil on a striker, we'd better make sure the medical is thorough! On the whole yes fecking please

Didn't he cost Sunderland like 14 million? Why the * * would they even consider selling him for anything less than 20 mill? Not to mention his wages are almost certainly double our highest earner.

This is a complete and utter non-story. Might as well link us to Messi ffs.
