    Hopefully but Starfelt was also away with Sweden, travelling quite a bit.

    Welsh has impressed on the park for us this season and I’d already read about his turning up with scarves and top for the tragedy that happened to a young man on his way to university,

    You don't have to imagine. Starfelt has done far worse. Welsh is young and will make mistakes, Starfelt has been a 4 million pound dafty so far.

    I think Welsh has earned the goodwill of supporters, apart from today he's done very little wrong when given the chance.


    Starfelt on the other hand has been poor in a number of games, really not convincing tbh.

    To put it into perspective how bad our current CB’s are, Jozo at the time he was released would be our best CB by quite a bit for me.

    That is fair but equally so is criticism of Welsh he was poor today not just getting done for their goal. For me I think he is a decent center back with potential but is he good enough to be one of the 2 featured main center backs for us right now no IMHO. He is neither dominant enough physically nor good enough on the ball. Good player to have in the squad who can do a decent job over the course or a season yes but nothing more then that for me.
