Do we even have to try and sell him

Can we not just drive him out to a field, open the car door and let him run free

    Aye just not good enough.

Never helped that he didn't get a debut til he was practically 21 either.
But he's had plenty time since then and for all the love in the world I wanna see our youth so we'll, Welsh just isn't good enough.

On his way out the door and we play him in a pre season game that might jeopardise the move and the chance to finally get him off the books. Beyond daft.

The way some of our so called supports talk about our own players and fellow fans is a joke. He isn’t good enough but gets called allsorts for trying carve a career out at the club he supports, he isn't good enough and unlikely to prove otherwise but its pure hun like and shameful behaviour to talk about him like that

It's not "hun like" it's normal for fans of all teams, including ours, to slate their own players when they play */are *.
I remember hearing some of the abuse some really good players for us got in the stands in the MON era after a bad performance. Nothing new . We are a demanding fan base, and getting called a donkey etc happens plenty and always will.

It doesn’t need to happen in a * friendly match against Cork City.

If the * cost us the title then aye but acting like that after a preseason friendly is beyond embarrassing.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers lamented the latest injury blow suffered by Stephen Welsh after watching his side beat Cork City 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Welsh had to exit the match shortly after Celtic conceded, with physios rushing on the pitch to treat a dislocated shoulder.

The defender has suffered a similar issue on three prior occasions, and Rodgers indicated post-match that surgery could now be required

I think by the time the physios got on, it had popped back in, but the pain was too sore, so we took him off," the Celtic boss told club media.

"It's the fourth time that it's popped out. I think when it keeps coming out like that, there's the possibility of an operation. He has to have a wee think about that."

Honestly the amount of times he's gone down as if he's being given a 10 count is unbelievable..

Big Tim and wish him well, but he badly needs to go and we badly need rid..

Think most of us on this forum would have found half a dozen centre backs better than him down at our local juniors.
