Sure, but also depends how long CCV stays which will change the pecking order again.

Popped shoulder? How long is that? I know Kyogo has had that a few times and there has been occasions that he's played the next game and others he's maybe had a fortnight out.

Probably answered my own question there tbf.

Always been a Welsh fan, love his ability on the ball. He was doing really well yesterday, felt for him bigtime when he had to go off.
If CCV is only out short term, I would be all for a short term loan. That would leave us with 4 center half's, should be adequate with no European football. Feel regular game time would do him the world of good.

That was sheer bad luck for him today, wasn’t a re-occurrence of a previous injury, shoulder * dislocated out of nowhere.

His lucks horrendous, he’ll be fit until the guy infront of him gets injured, then thats when he’ll pick one up. We’ll need to rush him back early, when the full time he’s out there’s been cover and he aggravates his injury he’s coming back from.

Then he gets another chance and is doing * good. * shoulder does the bunk from its socket. I love Welsh but I’m no sure if it was a player I didn’t really like would get sympathy rather than needs to make sure of availability and get injuries sorted or go.

I want him here but I’m defo biased with my opinion on him.

With CCV becoming more injury prone, I can see him being here for a long time. I just feel it in my bones.

yeah after his 3rd injury of 2023 I can't see anybody in a rush to buy him. That could be for our benefit in the long run. I actually think there could be more chance of Scales leaving for a championship team.

He’s made of glass. I’ve never seen a centre half have to be subbed so much.

His passing was chronic tonight. Within the first 30 minutes, he must have played about 5 underhit passes out to Kuhn or Ralston.

Said it for ages, I don't rate him at all.

He came in and stepped up when we were * mince in the covid season, and he's never shied away when called upon, but he's nowhere near good enough for Celtic.

Probably be decent for St Mirren, Motherwell etc. I'm not sure he'd even get a game for likes of Hearts.

I'd maybe loan him out to Killie or St Mirren or something, see how he fares.

Just shows how * up our club is that we've got two international centre backs (Nawrocki hasn't been capped but has been called up to senior Poland squads) at 8 million or so combined and yet Stephen Welsh is ahead in the pecking order.

    What the *.

Thought he was our best player in the first half.

A good player but injured constantly. So for that reason alone he won’t make it here. Shame because he’s a good Celtic man.
