So, Mulgrew must stay like he does now and O'Dea in replacement ?

O'Dea has proved to be not up to scratch for season after season at Celtic.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder - their is a reason O'Dea is on loan. It was the same last time he was on loan - people screamed for him to return and he was pish. It was the same when Balde wasn't getting a game under Strachan, Riordan too - fans just assume that these players who aren't playing are somehow better than they were and forget how poor they are. O'Dea isn't good enough; not now and not ever.

Mcmaus is not the answer.Seems similar to maj imo int that hes slow, rash and makes everything seem like last ditch and hurried when it shouldn't need to be.

McManus is not great and not fast but in his good first couple of seasons under WGS he was far better than what we have now. Caldwell is far superior to anyone we have now and has now had 3 seasons of EPL experience too. He is probably out of our league now. Mick is better than Maj Jos and possibly Loovens but the ideal Celtic CH would be a lot faster.

I want him for the simple reason that he is miles better than every single player in our defence/team at heading the ball. I used to watch him warm up at Celtic park by having the ball thrown at him and heading it half the length of the pitch. Maj cant get it 5 yards!!

He may not be the greatest footballer but neither was Balde. We would instantly be better at corners (at both ends) with him there, something we are seriously poor at these days.

I can't believe some people think this * donkey was good.

He was rank rotten and should have been nowhere near the team, never mind the * Captain.

He was so rash in the tackle, he had no positional sense and was repeatedly done for pace, not to mention the fact that he was terrible in the air and struggled to play a 5 yard pass.

Naw. Decent guy and loved Celtic but he just isn't good enough and is definitely no improvement on the defenders we have.
