Good luck Mick. Always thought you gave 110% for Celtic. Will be well liked by the boro fans if he performs with the same attitude.

Got to say he was superb for us in his first 2 seasons he improved over the early course of his career scored a good few goals too but too much too young the day he was made celtic captain was for me at least the day he was ruined as a player too much pressure for such a young man!!! best o luck big man!

All the best Big man. Honest pro who would run through brick walls for the side.

I think he will turn into an accomplished CB, above our expectations. Boro fans seem to love him.

He may have been bad for us these last 2 seasons, but there is no doubt he is probably still one of the best defenders for Scotland. Certainly I'd pick him over either of the Caldwells or Webster. I think he had to move to rediscover himself and I hope he improves and one day he can maybe come back when he is nearer the end of his career and bring experience and maturity to our defence.

On a side note I think its going to be Mick and Danny Wilson as Levein's first choice defensive pairing for the Euros, which I think is quite good.

I think Mcmanus's career will pan out similarly to that of Derek Whyte.. (The Middlesboro connection intended)..

I don't think his career will progress or that he'll be an automatic pick by Levein for Scotland (I'd expect Kenneth and Webster will probably be given a chance) but Im certain Mcmaus will find a decent run of form at Boro and will get back into the Scotland team at somepoint (not as captain though) before returning to the SPL in a few years time as captain of a midtable SPL club , like Aberdeen or St Mirren..

Thought he was a good player but made some bad mistakes at time. Have to say he was a real celtic man though and gave everything for our club. I wish him the best of luck! Hail Hail

If he goes, i hope it works out well for him. Folk can rightly question his ability, but no-one can question the guys passion and commitment as a Celtic player.

Thanks for the effort big man. All the best.

    I hope he stays.

He's still a decent defender who has just lost confidence because of his own fans getting on his back.

I'll never forget his performance in the San Siro in 2007, he flung himself in front of everything and was magnificent.

I've said it already, if we got to 3-5-2, he would be the ideal man to play on the left side of the three.

I like him, certainly as a 3rd/4th choice CB. Problem is he doesn't have the ability to ever be a first pick for us. So all the best if he does decide to go - he's got a good few years at a good level to look forward to and might even get a taste of the Premiership.
