I honestly cannot believe there is still some fans backing this board, genuinely in disbelief at that. We have been short changed as fans, and a few loan signings are not pulling the wool over my eyes. The biscuit tin mentality has come back to bite us on the *. We have had long enough to bring in a striker, but we opted not to. We played with fire and got burned.

As for that snake Lawwell's statement, I wouldn't believe one word of it. Talking about giving a section of our fans enough rope to hang themselves is an absolute disgrace.

 

I think its wrong to blame everything on one person,there are more than him with input on things and like i said the slow movement on signigns could be in part down the the manager taking his time.

Im also not blindy supporting the board and after this summer and what has gone on i expect much more from them.

Second of all, when Lawwell has been found out to say "give them enough rope to hang themselves" about a section of our support, I think he is worthy of abuse. Or do you agree with him on this. Was he not also found out lying to fans about potential stadium closure? Aye, he is a great guy.

If he has been caught lying before, why should I trust anything he says in his statement?

The figures released by the club suggest we don't have a stock pile of cash. The figures are transparent and must be to satisfy the auditors therefore it begs the question - what do you want........ Celtic to go into debt which on the face of it is ok if we can guarantee CL football each year and selling a player for a big profit. Out with the normal cash streams we cannot generate any extra cash, TV money - poor, season ticket sales - down, merchandising - income reduced. So if we take on debt how do we pay it off??
