Yes, that will do nicely also, I was trying to think of the money good old PL will be willing to part with, what about both or am I asking for to much? :smiley-laughing002: Just give me someone thats gonna score 30 odd goals a season.

Because Norway stretches all along the top of Scandinavia too.

    Stefan Johansen signs!

In terms of latitude as opposed to beside it I guess?

Was just a poorly worded sentence, should have just said it was further East than Kiev and Istanbul.

Holy *, not many people can take living that far north. He must be a tough lad!

Can't wait to see him in the Hoops.

I understand it now. When I first read it I couldn't get my head around how a place in Norway could be east of a place in Ukraine and Turkey but I wasn't taking latitude and longitude into account. The sentence did make it sound as if Vardo was next to Istanbul and Kiev.

He didn't choose to live out of sheeer toughness though, he was born there :smiley-laughing002:

Anyway this lad better be good, recent transfer windows have been underwhelming with the notable exception of Van Dijk's signing.

His hair could do with a good wash by all accounts...a more greasy and uglier version of Sammy's

Anyone can change their circumstances if they desire it. From the interviews I've read, he seems like a pretty well-grounded young man, that is proud of where he comes from, despite the trials of growing up there. He'll be a fan favourite in no time.

Why does it make it different if he was born there?

The boy lived closer to Russia, Sweden, Finland, Latvia and Estonia than he did to Oslo

Okay... Thursday in Edinburgh = Norwegian night. I spoke to half a dozen Norwegian girls and they all said he'd be a superstar. Also met two of Thomas Rogne's pals and they say he'll be the next big thing (one said bigger than Wanyama). Scouting done, lads. We've scored big.
