Definitely POTY, at this stage. He's so important to the team, his level fitness is just ridiculous.

However, I've said it plenty of times before but he is frustrating. His passing is extremely hit and miss. Can play some top class passes but then make an * of a 10 yard pass. And that attempted pass to Griffiths (?) was shocking. If he could improve that aspect he would be the fantastic.

Good to see him adding goals to his game now, 5 goals in his last 5 league games. Actually surprised that before this run he'd only scored 1 league goal this season.

    Mate, we're Celtic not Bayern.

We are never going to have complete players, they wouldn't be here otherwise.

Same with Izzy, people seem to think it's a breeze to go and pick up a LB who can both attack and defend in equal measure. Aint going to happen.

We just have to be happy with what we've got and realise that the players we get will always have some limitations, that's why they are here and not at Bayern.

We get the odd few who are well rounded players though like Van Dijk, Denayer, Lustig, Wanyama, Ledley and Hooper.

  4. Johansen is what 21/22, he could develop definitely into a complete player.

Who then * off first chance they get.

    Bar Lustig obviously.

Van Dijk has his limitations as well.

Mad to think he's played 42 games this season, most of which have been 90 minutes too. Its been said to death but his fitness really is unbelievable. Hope he doesn't burn out

He wasn't always this fit, certainly not when he played for Bodø/Glimt. In a couple of years his current level of fitness should be our average level.:50:

We've been crying out for a Stan petrov type player for years now, glad we've found him. He has improved massively, he was one of our poorer players at the start of the season.

  12. 42 games this season too. Unreal.

Think he's been poor the last couple of games on the ball but his work-rate is unbelievable, good finish for the goal too. His movement is excellent to get on the end of things and in between the lines.

    Would rest midweek.

Hw was being played out of position. His form changed instantly when he went into attacking midfield.

    Thought that myself.

Has an unbelievable engine though, and has been playing well of recent.

However keep away from the defensive midfielder area, as he just can't do it for me.

Aye. I think he's pretty poor in the middle 2, if he went back in there I'd expect him to go back to his poor form from the start of the season.

Some attacking midfielder though. One of the new breeds of playmaker for whom pressing is a major part of his game. Reminds me of Di Maria at Real Madrid last season a bit... At the tip of the middle 3 but runs his * off. Its something you wouldn't have seen even 5/6 years ago.
