I think if Stefan Johansen filled a bucket with * there would be a few in here that would fight each other to drink it. :smiley-laughing002:

    Stokes obviously, or Johansen
Johansen.... you sort of fear he might be the next one who some of the teams down south my think "hmmm... I fancy me a bit of that".

Utterly sensational player, unbelievable effort, passing and skill he's just an awesome complete midfielder.

Had a poor start to the season but showed he had class last season, and has kicked on again..

We love to write our players off very quickly on here but Johansen is an important player for us and has everything Ronny wants..:shamrock:

    Randy Marsh effort?

Starting to fall in love with this player, think he has the same sort of personality/mind set of someone like Lustig though, he may not be turned too quickly by the bright lights of down south.

He's a tireless worker and he backs it up with class on the ball. Can't ask for much more. He's been player of the season so far I reckon.

Had no idea he was only 23 as well guy could down as one of the all-time greats he doesn't strike me as a guy to chase the big money as long as Ronny stays, Stefan will stay

    :52: get a grip , i beg you .

    Larsson , Mcstay , Mcgrain , Dalglish , Jinky , Stein , Lennox , Mcgrory , Maley .

Those are all time greats , he will never be in that category . Johansen is a good player and a very important one for us . If he stays here for a while and improves he may go on to be another Nakamura or Sutton , and i hope he does.

That is tremendous mate. I admire that long game. You knew you would get your day and by * you took when it came around. :smiley-laughing002:

    Well done, you nailed it.

Funny the two different views of one player. Lenny played him much deeper in midfield while Ronny has him as the furthest advanced.

Johansen uses the ball so well and is always looking for the forward pass. Magnificent display today and was at the heart of everything we did well.

    * me, what on Earth did he do at Fir Park today? I missed the game, but it must've been something special to get the kind of comments I've been reading.

Maintained he was a good player when he was in a bad run of form earlier this season, and I maintain he is a good player now he is hitting a purple patch.

The more advanced role suits him, as he seemed to lack the discipline to cover for other players like the man he replaced (Ledley) always did so well. His pressing high up the pitch has created chances and goals so often this season. It's great he has started scoring more goals, but I'd still like to see him getting a few more..

Neil McCann was getting a little bit wet over Johansen in the commentary box, as was Andy Walker. That's how good he was.

He reminded me of an Aimar or Riquelme, every time he had the ball he was knocking the ball through the Motherwell defence at will with inch perfect passes. Married with the fact unlike an Aimar or Riquelme he puts in the effort of a Marathon runner you have a fairly complete midfield performance.

I think he is a cracking player.
