    Living in Sussex, I watched him closely when Fulham visited the Amex 6-8 weeks ago.
    He mainly sat in as a defensive centre mid, and looked really tidy in and out of possession.
    Did feel he was going through the motions a little, didn't see 1 full on charging press, or bursting past defence run of the ball.
    Shame to hear he possibly became stroppy, feel BR could have polished him into something really special

    One of the most frustrating players I've ever seen in a celtic shirt, ran about all last season like a headless chicken giving away needless fouls and picking up stupid bookings.

    Stefan Johansen is the new captain of the Norwegian national team. In a interview in VG today he mentioned Scott Brown as a mentor along with Per Ciljan Skjelbred and Scott Parker. Congratulations to the lad!

    - First and foremost, it's a great honor and a proud day for both me and the family. Of course it is to have the captaincy something special, but I'm going to continue to help with what I've done all the time. I will make demands of those around me, and first and foremost to myself, says Stefan Johansen.

    Wednesday was 26-year-old presented by coach Lars Lagerbäck as Norway's new national team captain - first for the players during training at Motspur Park, and then press corps at the Pestana Hotel in London.

    Johansen debuted on the national team against Sweden on 14 August 2013 and has a total of 33 A-caps and three goals.

    - Stefan has the right qualities one national team captain will wear on and off the field. He is a leader type, and has made a good impression on this collection so far. We look forward to him being captain for Norway, said coach Lars Lagerbäck.

    Don't think he downed tools at all. Either did anybody else, team was on it's * at the end of Ronny's management, including Johansen.

    Would have been an ideal Brendan player but he wanted to go by then.

    Fair play and good luck, but his heart wasnt in it at all at the end of last season.

    Definetely a player there, as we saw in his first season, but he was desperate to go and not fight for his place. His loss.

    He was playing through a back injury that he never fully recovered from for most of the season. Then he didn't recapture any form and the team struggled as a whole.

    Pleased to see him doing well.
