He was a big part in the Maribor loss, for me anyway.

Cleared Van Dijks header off Maribor goaline, then missed a great chance to grab an other away goal.

Wouldn't blame him for Malmo.

Delighted to get our money back with a year left on his deal.

 

Johansen is undoubtedly a huge part of us failing to qualify for the Champions League two years in a row, ironic too when you consider he was Ronny's blue eyed boy.

He took a petulant fit that directly led to that second Malmo goal, and cleared Van Dijk's header off the line, all in, it cost us £60M bucks.

Honestly glad to see the back of him and always thought he was over-rated. My old boy saw him a few times during his POTY season and raved about him but i just never so it and thought he was mediocre at best.

 

Would love to add him to the list, but we have so little in the way of strikers...

 

He is a good player but clearly had no interest playing for us for a while. It's the best for everyone that he leaves

I liked him, attitude last season was * though. Can do much better. Good luck though.

 

At one point looked special for us. Even when he was off form he still put in a shift and for that I think the majority of fans will wish him well.

He was a cracking player in the first year, but he just dropped off a cliff after that.

He didn't do enough to convince me he was anything other than a one season wonder.

Can finally stop hearing about the myth of his 'great season' which in reality was a good 3/4 months.

 

I think he's better than what he's shown the last year and a bit, but some people on here massively overrate him.

Jackson Irvine is ripping it up down there ffs and Johansen was about 11 places ahead of him in our midfield - and still not in our top 3!
